Program Description
The minor in Middle East and Islamic Studies (MEIS) emphasizes coursework in the history, politics, society, culture, and religion of the Middle East and the wider Islamic world. The curriculum for the program includes upper and lower division courses offered by the departments of History, Humanities and Religious Studies, Government, Sociology, Women's and Gender Studies, and Foreign Languages.
Note: Students wishing to minor in Middle East and Islamic Studies are required to consult with the program coordinator.
