Program Description
The sociology major and minor have few specific requirements, allowing the student flexibility in selecting courses in the various subject areas covered in the program. The areas covered are:
- social theory and methods of inquiry;
- elective topics such as family, immigration, education, politics, religion, sport and environment, social justice, crime and deviance, diversity and inequality, socialization and interaction, globalization, and social change.
