The Substance Use & Abuse Studies program at California State University, Sacramento, offers an interdisciplinary curriculum designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to address the complex issues related to substance use and abuse. The program focuses on understanding the social, cultural, psychological, and biological factors that contribute to substance use disorders and equips students with the tools necessary for effective prevention, intervention, and treatment in substance use.
